Title: e-Health - Drivers for Change and Mobile Technologies

The AACP will be holding a Sunrise Session during the World Congress of Internal Medicine 2010 Melbourne, on Tuesday, 23 March 2010 at 7:45am – 8:45am. The session will be chaired by our Immediate Past President, Dr Les Bolitho, and is open to all delegates attending WCIM 2010 Melbourne. We particularly hope to see our members at this session.

Summary:
Clinical Computers at Point of Care: Friend or Foe?  Will the Electronic Medical Record Live up to the Hype?

Associate Professor Graeme Hart is the Acting Director of the Austin Intensive Care Unit and Clinical Director of The Austin Centre for Applied Clinical Informatics at Austin Health. He is also Deputy Chair, Health Smart Clinical Systems Steering Committee, Department of Human services, Victoria. Graeme also undertakes a number of management and research activities.
