New Payment Options
- The AACP has introduced BPAY as a payment method for renewals. This increases the types of accounts you can use to renew your membership online. BPAY is widely used and trusted, and allows you to make payments through your own bank.
- The AACP is also now offering you the option of automatic renewal of your membership each year. There is a tick box option on your 2010 tax invoice to give the AACP permission to automatically renew your membership in 2011 and subsequent years, using the credit card details you provide for your 2010 renewal.
We hope these added payment options will make it even easier for you to renew your AACP membership.
November 2009
In November 2009, the AACP wrote to both the Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Ageing concerning the NHHRC and NPHCS reports, which both barely acknowledged the significant role of consultant physicians and paediatricians in delivery of a wide range of medical and health services in the non-hospital health sector. The AACP invited both the Prime Minister and the Health Minister to spend some time in a consultant physician or paediatrician practice to see first hand the breadth and depth of health care provided by consultant physicians and paediatricians.
The AACP will be following up these invitations early in the New Year.
Welcome to the AACP's new President, Dr Bill Heddle, who was elected at the 2009 Annual General Meeting, after a term as Vice-President.
